According to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) only 55% of the public said they had trust and confidence in National Government departments storing and using their personal data, and only 51% for Local Governments. Technology continues to reform every aspect of our society, with data forming an essential element of any successful Government body, both in central and wider public sectors. Issues with outdated infrastructure and siloed data can lead to impersonal and poor digital services leading to a lack of trust from the public.
