Data Integrity: Updating Through AppSource

Is there a new version?

The Data8 Data Integrity solution itself has a version checker installed and you will be prompted when you do have a version available to upgrade. Alternatively, Data8 may from time to time contact you to let you know there is a version available for you too.

In the “Data8 Data Intergrity Administration” model driven you’ll see an “Licensing” option in the left hand navigation bar. By selecting this, you may see a warning that your version is out of date.

Where is the new version?

If you head to AppSource and view the data integrity solution – or go direct through this link: https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-gb/product/dynamics-365/data8.integrity

How to install it?

If you have previously installed through AppSource

Head to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/environments, expand the left “Resources” panel and select “Dynamics 365 apps”.

In the list of apps you should see “data8 data quality™”. Select this row, then click Install in the toolbar.

If you haven’t previously installed through AppSource

You will see a button that says “Free Trial” – click that.

This will take you to  Dynamics 365. Here you are required to select an environment to install the solution to. After you select an environment, you will be asked to accept some agreements – this is a required step and cannot be skipped.

Once you press “install”, the installation process will begin and you will see the solution in your list of Dynamic 365 Apps. This process usually takes a few minutes, so just back and relax!
